Assignment 3 : Art Photography
Chris Becker is the Artist I chose for my Art Photography Blog, specializing in time-lapse, long exposures. He does not use any Photoshop Manipulation,only basic color correction, cropping, contrast. Lighting effects are achieved during the camera exposure, often through available light.
CBS using Becker pictures on an upcoming American science fiction drama television series “Extant”. Steven Spielberg will serve as an executive producer.
He was born in 1970, raised in Minnesota and currently resides in Kennebunkport, Maine continuing workin fine art and documentary photography.

Analysis :
Manufactured Light~
I like the cylinder-shaped "round" or "rolled" bales in the dark light, it draws attention to the 3 dimensional form. The Manufactured light played a big part in the "Ilumination"of these bales to make them look like sculptures. Ice Flow also had the same effect on me, the looked like illuminated pieces of art in the water.
Natural Light~
Ice Grass, The Pond, and Passing Trees all were shot with available light,photographythat has always held the allure of intimacy in my eyes. I like the way he looked for the interesting light, then figured out how to use it to make an interesting picture. I love the lines in all of thes 3 images, they lead you throughout the entire photo.
